I've just had my first experience of being hypnotised. I feel a little embarrassed about having arranged to do it, but, the hell with my embarrassment because I feel *amazing*. Like I've been carrying a heavy backpack around without realising it and suddenly after years I've taken it off and remembered what's it's like to not have to carry it.

Yay!

Oooh, hypnosis. Who hypnotized you, and why? There's a hypnotherapist in the same block of offices as us, and I've wondered for quite a bit if it might be worth setting up an appointment with her, so any thoughts you had would be much appreciated!

A hypnotherapist, because I wanted to do something about my crippling psychological disorders. ;)

It was kind of expensive, but worth it in my opinion. I hear, though, that different people have different degrees of susceptibility to hypnosis and apparently I am very susceptible indeed, so it may be that you wouldn't have the strong reaction that I did. But, I guess depending on what you might want it for, and based on my own experience, I really recommend it. :)
